Activities Offered at Bassé
Signature Bodywork & Massage
At Bassé, we offer daily, trauma-informed bodywork and massage to support you through every phase of your healing journey. These sessions are designed to calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and invite the body into a state of safety and rest. As the body holds emotional and somatic imprints of past experiences, intentional touch can help facilitate the release of trauma, grief, and stress that may surface before, during, or after Ibogaine treatment. This hands-on support helps you to ground, integrate, and soften – allowing for a deeper connection to self, and a greater sense of emotional and physical ease.
Somatic Movement
At Bassé, somatic movement is a core part of our trauma-informed approach. This gentle, mindful practice invites you to reconnect with your body – often after years of disassociation caused by trauma, addiction, or chronic stress. By emphasizing internal awareness over external performance, somatic movement helps unlock stored tension, promote nervous system regulation, and increase mobility. This is especially supportive in preparing for Ibogaine treatment and in the days following, as it encourages emotional grounding, body-based safety, and calm integration of the experience.
Creative Expression
Art is a vital integration tool at Bassé. Through therapeutic creative sessions – such as drawing, painting, or collaborative mandala-making – you have the space to express emotions that may surface during your Ibogaine journey. These practices bypass the thinking mind and speak directly to the subconscious, helping you to process nonverbal insights and make sense of your inner experience. The act of creating fosters presence, emotional clarity, and a sense of personal empowerment, all of which are deeply healing after a powerful psychedelic experience.
Vocal Toning
Vocal toning sessions at Bassé are designed to open the body’s energetic and emotional channels. This practice uses intentional sound – such as humming, vowel sounds, or chanting – to activate the vagus nerve, regulate the breath, and shift brainwave activity into calmer states. Toning before Ibogaine helps prepare the nervous system, while practicing it after can assist in integration by releasing emotional tension and reconnecting to self-expression. It’s especially useful for those who feel “stuck” or disconnected from their voice, both literally and symbolically.
Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra)
Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditation technique we offer at Bassé to support nervous system repair and emotional processing before and after Ibogaine treatment. Known as “psychic sleep,” it guides you into deep relaxation while remaining gently aware – allowing the mind and body to enter healing brainwave states. This practice is particularly helpful for those working through anxiety, trauma, insomnia, or emotional overwhelm. In the context of Ibogaine, Yoga Nidra helps settle the system post-journey, integrate insights, and create space for long-term healing to unfold.
Subconscious Illumination
This guided introspective practice invites you to explore the symbolic language of the subconscious – through dreamwork, visualization, archetypal reflection, and intuitive inquiry. Many guests at Bassé emerge from their Ibogaine treatment with profound visions or emotional material that can be difficult to interpret. Subconscious illumination offers a safe and structured way to revisit these experiences, unpack their deeper meaning, and anchor them into conscious awareness. It supports lasting change by helping you understand the root of emotional patterns, behaviors, and core beliefs.

Who Our Ibogaine Programs Are Designed For
At Bassé, we are specialists in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain with Ibogaine. We understand deeply how these struggles can prevent you from living your life fully, and have carefully crafted our programs to support healing and recovery from them.
Addiction Recovery with Ibogaine
If you are in the grips of a physical or behavioral addiction, such as with opiates or alcohol, our programs could help you break free from the destruction and pain of these cycles. Ibogaine resets your neurochemistry and has the power to dramatically reduce withdrawal symptoms, enabling you to overcome physical dependency, heal the root of your addiction, and reclaim your life for good.
Relief from Depression & Anxiety
Do you feel like you’ve tried everything to heal your depression and/or anxiety – medication, talk therapy, even spiritual practices… and still face struggles? Ibogaine has remarkable abilities to help release trauma loops and rebalance neurotransmitters, helping to lift you out of a depressive state. Ibogaine also helps heal and regulate the nervous system, easing the intensity of anxiety, helping you to approach life with clarity, strength, and self-belief.
Healing from PTSD
PTSD can deeply impact your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, getting in the way of building meaningful relationships, triggering chronic physical symptoms, and often leading to a destructive relationship with self.
Ibogaine’s capability to restore neurotransmitter balance, help you release trauma imprints, and regulate the nervous system offers PTSD sufferers an opportunity to rewrite their story into one of presence, inner peace, and fulfilled potential.
Support For Chronic Pain
The struggle of feeling pain day in, day out, is profound – not only burdening you with debilitating physical discomfort, but also taking a toll on your emotional health, cognitive function, and social life.
By interacting with multiple neural systems, including serotonin and dopamine transporters and opioid receptors, Ibogaine can help reduce pain sensations and boost your overall emotional well-being, offering profound relief from chronic pain.
Somatic Therapies at Bassé
The heart of our Ibogaine program lies in our somatic therapies. These coaching, bodywork, and therapeutic modalities help you to create a conscious and supportive relationship with the body.
By including somatic practices in the Ibogaine program, we help you maximize your capacity to heal, feel at home in your body, and disrupt negative patterns and behaviors. This is the heart of our approach to integration, too.
What Exactly is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is a science-backed approach that works directly with the nervous system to support trauma resolution, emotional regulation, and long-term healing. While talk therapy engages the cognitive mind, somatic therapy addresses the body’s role in storing and processing our experiences – an essential component in addiction recovery and PTSD treatment.
Why Are Somatic Therapies Important for Ibogaine Treatment?
Somatic therapies help deepen the healing of an Ibogaine treatment, providing vital tools to ground in the experience and access a felt sense of safety in the body.
Research shows that trauma and addiction alter brain function, specifically in the limbic system and autonomic nervous system. This can lead to dysregulation, which shows up as chronic stress responses, hyper-vigilance, emotional numbness, and compulsive behaviors.
Ibogaine acts as a neurological reset, facilitating neuroplasticity and allowing for profound shifts in perception and behavior. However, the body must integrate these changes for lasting transformation.
This is where somatic therapy plays a crucial role. Therapies that involve conscious breathing, hands-on bodywork, bodily awareness, mindful movement, and even smells and sounds can:
- Increase the awareness of your internal experience
- Expand your ability to regulate emotions, thoughts, and behaviors
- Reconnect you with your body’s wisdom and the messages it’s sending you
- Build a sense of safety in your body, helping to reduce the risk of relapse
- Foster long-term emotional and physical resilience
Essentially, somatic therapies provide a bridge – ensuring that the changes Ibogaine catalyzes are embodied, sustainable, and integrated into daily life.
