Diana del Carmen Batun Ku

Diana del Carmen Batun Ku is an experienced and highly committed registered nurse with a strong clinical background in critical care and emergency medicine. A graduate of Centro Universitario Siglo XXI in Mérida, Yucatán, she is recognized for her professionalism, teamwork, effective communication, and deep empathy in high-pressure environments.

Her career began at Starmedica, a private hospital in Mérida, where she worked in the Neonatal Intermediate Care Unit (UCIN) and Intermediate Therapy, providing complex care to vulnerable patients. Seeking to deepen her expertise in acute care, she transitioned to Hospiten in Cancún, where she advanced her skills in emergency response and the stabilization of critically ill patients, particularly in the shock and trauma unit.

Diana continues to apply her critical care expertise in both the Emergency Department and the Adult Intermediate Care Unit (UCIA). Her hands-on experience managing life-threatening conditions, rapid assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination make her a vital asset in urgent care settings. She remains committed to ongoing professional growth and excellence in the care of critically ill patients.
