Tina “Kat” Courtney is a pioneering figure in the modern plant medicine movement. She is a traditionally trained Ayahuasquera and Huachumera with over 20 years of professional experience working with psychedelics. Kat apprenticed for more than a decade within the revered Shipibo-Conibo and Quechua-Lamista traditions, developing an immensely profound understanding of shamanic healing traditions. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Plant Medicine People, a community and platform dedicated to honoring and advancing the transformative power of plant medicines.
Kat is also the author of Plant Medicine Mystery School Vol 1: The Superhero Healing Powers of Psychotropic Plants, a visionary book celebrating the sentience and dynamic personalities of entheogenic plants—highlighting their unique capacity to heal and transform.
