IBOGAINE PROGRAMS AT BASSÉ
If you deal with addiction, chronic pain, and /or PTSD and trauma-related challenges, Ibogaine might just be your path to wellness. It’s important to all of us at Bassé that each of our clients be deeply called to this healing work, and that they resonate with how we operate. Here’s some more important information so you can determine if Ibogaine – and Bassé – is right for you.
Bassé’s Ibogaine program is designed to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to wellness that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery.
We celebrate the opportunity to reset our beautiful minds, to lean on Ibogaine’s magnificent properties of neuroplasticity and neuro-reset, and we honor somatic principles that help our clients truly hear and decipher the sacred communications from the body.
We also celebrate deep feeling. We support our clients in getting to the root of their traumas, limiting stories, and painful memories, helping to create freedom from these moments and stories so they are no longer preventing you from living your life fully. This involves a profound commitment to self-discovery, and to the willingness to feel and process what awaits. We will support you in any way we can, but we can’t do this for you. You have to want what’s on the other side.
In addition to Ibogaine therapy, we specialize in somatic modalities and integration techniques to help our clients get the most of their experience. Our program covers a range of supportive services that are designed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery.

When you arrive at our luxurious, nature-nestled clinic, you’ll be treated with respect, and our central commitment is always your safety. Our driver will meet you at the airport and keep you comfortable on your journey, and once at Bassé, you’ll receive a complete schedule and orientation for our intimate, gorgeous setting. Our space is nothing like a traditional sterile hospital setting. Although our team is led by emergency trained doctors and nurses, Bassé feels like a 5-star boutique hotel. We will take care of you every step of the way.
Our Ibogaine program includes a range of complementary therapies that can help support recovery and promote overall well-being. This includes signature Bassé bodywork, somatic therapies to regulate the nervous system, guided personalized meditation practices, yoga therapy, and daily rituals that are tailored to the individual needs of each client.

Our signature Ibogaine therapy program. This week-long experience is best for those needing just a short period for detox, as well as PTSD and chronic pain clients.

The 10 day program is designed specifically for individuals needing extra time to detox from substances like opiates and alcohol. The additional days allow for a safe and medically-assisted detox.

Our 2 week program (or longer) is a custom-designed experience for clients needing extra support either in detoxing from substance abuse, and/or physical and somatic healing. If you are looking for a comprehensive program with longer term clinical and shamanic support, we will personalize a program for your individual needs.

The heart of our Ibogaine program lies in our signature somatic therapies. These coaching, bodywork, and therapeutic modalities are all about creating a conscious and supportive relationship with the body, expanding our capacity to hear and decipher the messages our physical bodies are always sending us. By including somatic practices in the Ibogaine program, we enable clients to maximize their capacity to heal, to feel good in their bodies, and to disrupt negative patterns and behaviors. This is the heart of our integration too.
Somatic therapy is a science-backed approach that works directly with the nervous system to support trauma resolution, emotional regulation, and long-term healing. Whereas talk therapy engages the cognitive mind, somatic therapy addresses the body’s role in storing and processing our experiences – an essential component in addiction recovery and PTSD treatment.
Research shows that trauma and addiction alter brain function, specifically in the limbic system and autonomic nervous system. This can lead to dysregulation, which may be expressed as chronic stress responses, hyper-vigilance, emotional numbness, and compulsive behaviors. Ibogaine acts as a neurological reset, facilitating neuroplasticity and allowing for profound shifts in perception and behavior. However, the body must integrate these changes for congruent, lasting transformation.
This is where somatic therapy plays a crucial role. Breath, movement, hands-on bodywork, even smells and sounds can serve as mediations that increase the awareness of our internal experience; and when guided therapeutically and educationally increase our ability to regulate emotions, thoughts and behaviors.
Without this body-based support, individuals may struggle to stabilize after Ibogaine, experiencing residual dysregulation or emotional overwhelm. Somatic therapy helps create a bridge – ensuring that the changes ibogaine catalyzes are embodied, sustainable, and integrated into daily life.
It’s important to understand that somatic therapy isn’t just an add-on – it’s a vital component of a successful Ibogaine experience. By guiding patients to reconnect with their bodies in a safe and intentional way, we support a more complete recovery, reducing relapse risk and fostering long-term resilience.
This is why somatic therapy is integral to our approach – it allows for deep authentic healing, rooted in creating a foundation for true and lasting change.

Ibogaine is most known for its ability to disrupt physical and behavioral addiction patterns for substances like opiates and alcohol. Our 8, 10, and 14 day programs are all designed to help people lost in the destruction of addiction to reset their neurochemistry and reclaim their lives.

Ibogaine also has remarkable abilities to help release trauma-loops and rebalance neurotransmitters, which in turn can help lift people out of deep depressive states. Ibogaine also has the ability to help heal and regulate the nervous system, which can ease the intensity of anxiety, and help people feel like their authentic selves again.

PTSD is a complex diagnosis that impacts just about every physical and emotional system in the body and mind. Ibogaine’s capability to restore neurotransmitter balance, along with its remarkable properties that assist in releasing trauma imprints, ruminations, and trauma loops, offers chronic PTSD sufferers the potential for profound transformation.

Ibogaine influences multiple neurotransmitter systems in the brain, including serotonin, dopamine, and opioid receptors. By modulating these pathways, it can help reduce pain sensations and enhance mood, offering tremendous relief for those with chronic pain. Its effect on dopamine receptors is particularly notable—since dysregulation of pathways often underlies chronic pain, improving dopamine signaling helps lessen discomfort and boost overall well-being.
